Update on our Lisbon Half Marathon Runner

Featured in last month’s News and Events, Margaret Hood, who previously worked with our Starfish project, successfully ran the 30th edition of the EDP Lisbon Half Marathon, to support the work of the team. Ahead of her challenge, Margaret said:
‘During my time working on the Starfish Project, I witnessed the resilience of clients and the life-changing outcomes of Bede’s support and prevention efforts. However, this project is perpetually underfunded’

One of 8000 finishers, Margaret’s 14-mile run in the international race where elite runners also compete, led her to raise far more than her original target of £1200, which now stands at £2262.
