“Bede does not do easy or comfortable things, but it does absolutely necessary things through which lives are transformed.”

Sir Simon Hughes, Chancellor, London South Bank University and Bede House Patron

During the coronavirus lockdown, Strictly Come Dancing star Hayley Sanderson has created a Bede Choir of survivors of domestic abuse. Working with music professionals, they have recorded their version of ‘Stronger’ by Britney Spears. This inspirational song aims to increase awareness of the help available for those in abusive relationships, and to raise funds for Bede and Women’s Aid. It’s just one of many ways in which Bede is responding to the Covid-19 challenge. For further details, please contact Ahlam Laabori.
