Bede was proud to be invited by Bermondsey’s Big Local Works, to participate in a festive art trail, which will be exhibited from 1-25 December.

Big Local has been working with local artists and other organisations, on a community project, to create artwork displayed across 25 venues in SE16 to, ‘turn our high street into an open-air gallery where everyone belongs.’

Launched at the Appleby Blue almshouse on Grange Road, this year’s theme is ‘The larder of London’, acknowledging this part of the city’s food industry heritage. Among other locations, the trail takes in The Blue and businesses near Tower Bridge Road and Bermondsey Tube station.

Our Learning Disabilities clients worked hard to come up with a display showing an array of plates filled with food you’d expect to eat at Christmas. Drinks were also included.

If you’re a fan of the spooky BBC series Inside No. 9, you’re invited to visit our window display at Bede House on Southwark Park Road—the 9th stop on the trail!
