Since 1938, for so many people in Southwark, we’ve been family. And you can be too. Now, and for generations to come.

Gifts in Wills could help make sure support is there when it’s needed for the people of Southwark. No matter the size of a gift, you’ll be helping people here in the local community. Leaving even a small percentage (a residuary legacy) could go a long way. These gifts are inflation proof and exempt from inheritance tax.

Your legacy will change the lives of Southwark people most in need. It will enable:

• people with learning disabilities to socialise, volunteer and  learn skills for paid work;
• those experiencing domestic abuse to receive counselling and support;
• local people to come together in community programmes and events.

Help with writing your Will

We strongly recommend using a solicitor or Will-writing expert to help create or change your Will. The independent professional body The Law Society can offer advice and direct you to a local solicitor. A solicitor can advise and support you to ensure that your estate is distributed exactly according to your wishes and on how to minimise the impact of Inheritance Tax.
