A BIG Bede ‘Thank you!’ goes to Eamon and Stephen for their Marathon effort in raising just over £6000 for our learning disabled clients to have a seaside trip this summer.

Eamon and Stephen are first time runners and did so on a very hot day. Both were cheered on by friends and family along the route to
encourage them to the finish line.

Crossing the finish line, Stephen, Bede Manager Carole’s son, declared, ‘Never ask me to do that again, Mother!’ However, he looked slightly more settled later when photographed with Eamon sharing a celebratory pint.
