International real estate and local community developer Greystar, have just announced that Bede House Association is the recipient of their Bermondsey Project Community Grant Fund. They write:

Bede House has a long-standing commitment to supporting young people in Southwark, individuals with learning disabilities, and those escaping domestic violence. Their winning project will focus on:

• Expanding volunteering and learning opportunities
• Promoting wellbeing and skills development
• Fostering stronger connections between local residents and disabled individuals at risk of exclusion.

A key feature of the initiative is the enhancement of the urban garden at the Bede Centre. Through inclusive co-design workshops and regular gardening sessions, the space will be transformed into a vibrant, welcoming environment for the whole community.
