The Choir of Clare College, Cambridge follow up

St Mary’s Church looked beautiful last night to welcome the Choir of Clare College, Cambridge for their Advent Concert in aid of Bede.

Before the concert, the choir had rushed across London to record a live performance broadcast at 5pm on BBC3. They were back in good time to perform a superb programme of advent music before a full house of 150 guests, including the Deputy Mayor of Southwark, Sir Simon Hughes, and the Dean of Clare College.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, over £2,200 has been raised to help fund Bede’s work in 2019. Our thanks also go to the Choir and their conductor Graham Ross, Fr Mark of St Mary’s, Rotherhithe and everyone who came out to support us.
